Each year throughout november the fashion houses broadcast advertising campaigns relating to the christmas period and end-of-year holidays. full of symbols and beautiful images, these films don’t lack humour. they are created with catchy music and almost always feature a celebrity. from lily-rose depp under snowflakes for the sublime chanel n°5 l’eau perfume, to michael kors who invites us to dance with bella hadid, the guest star of this festive campaign around elegant clothes in rhinestone and sequins. with burberry, for the first christmas campaign, riccardo tisci wanted to gather, around the theme of union and love, several strong personalities including the singers mahmood and shay but also glistening carla bruni sarkozy swaying to the music “what is love?” by deee-lite. the top models of the 90s are well presented in the latest campaigns; from amber valletta for tory burch to helena christensen playing alongside sarah baker for versace. donatella versace recruited the artist for a series of six episodes captivating the 80s soap opera spirit.and regarding the 80s, valentino chose joan collins. the famous 86-year-old dynasty actress enlivens the mood of a monotone party and does a few dance steps in her very chic red lace dress.finally, gucci doesn’t lack humour for its latest campaign. the italian brand takes us on a cruise with a group of friends who board a ferry in sought-after and crazy looks which are so appreciated by the artistic director alessandro michele.around strong symbols of christmas, the true values such as joy and happiness but also the idea of union and positivism continue to be celebrated during this festive end-of-year period.
