Artistic director: clare waight keller location: garde républicaine collection: feminine and urban mixing abstract concepts with a sartorial spirittops that tie around the neck, vaporous dresses, shorts, skirts and trousers in used and recycled denim patchwork.bra tops, tops and straight skirts in sensual leather, with a shiny look for a beige trench coat and floral prints decorate loose and bohemian dresses. delicate blouses with puffed sleeves are worn with straight-leg or ripped denim trousers.floral embroidery adorns long guipure evening dresses.the colours are strong, mixing burgundy with pink… emerald green with sky blue… and luminous like blood orange or bright purple. to note: the wooden column heels of mules or high boots. the supple bag with a double g icon and a weaved handle. with interviews:karen elson:i thought it was a really strong, modern, feminist woman and i felt that claire is just going from strength to strength. she can make really beautiful clothes but she can also make clothes that represent the times that we are in and personally as a woman, everything is something that i would like to wear. i also loved the casting, i loved that is was again just such strong women on display. it’s very clever what she does because she’s able to sort of blend our current time but also with her quintessential feminine edge. but like i said, it’s a feminist statement as well.i loved all the palettes, the soft tones and then i thought the first outfit was fantastic, sort of the camel colours and all the subtle tones i was very much into. adèle exarchopoulos:i loved the 90’s themed jeans and music. i also found it hyper-modern, super poetic and i my favourites were the fluid pink and nude trousers with a nude leather top. to me givenchy is iconic, poetic and rock. at the same time, it’s quite enigmatic and mysterious so yes, for me it is symbolic. maisie williams:it was beautiful, it was really wonderful. music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
