The New Summer Collaboration: Nach x Castelbajac Paris

The beautiful story of Nach, of how a few years ago, while exploring their father’s ornament boutique in the south of France, two young sisters decided to make their own jewellery line, created from porcelain. Today, the brand has released hundreds of pieces inspired by animals and nature and they have even extended their collections to ready-to-wear pieces made from beautiful prints.(interview)This summer, Nach is collaborating with the label Castelbajac Paris, for a limited-edition collection in new colour codes. Interview with Nadia Koch:The challenge that we had at the start was to make our primary material modern porcelain. That is to say, to work it into the jewellery and to include details such as metal, feathers, chains, rope and leather, to try to make a piece of jewellery that is as well-finished and complete as possible. Then, we decided to launch a ready-to-wear collection, continuing with this “animalised” theme. Something very important to us, as we often work with these animal themes, is that these ready-to-wear pieces contain natural materials, so we often use cotton, silk and linen and choose beautiful materials to make these collections. As a result, we have made two collections, “Leopard” and “Toucan”, with a set of jewelry for each collection. We have taken inspiration from the colours of the Castelbajac label and I think that for the Leopard collection for example, it was a good idea to have the leopard print in Castelbajac’s colours.
