Emilio Pucci - Women's Autumn-Winter 2017/18 collection in Milan ( with interview )

Artistic Director : Massimo GiorgettiSilhouette: slender and feminine with falling fringes. A tad seventies, with an explosion of colours and new paisley prints. The gowns are draped and cut to reveal the arm or the back. The trousers extend until the feet. The jersey is worn with lightness and fluidity in this young and energetic wardrobe. To note : the wheelie suitcase, printed with emblematic Pucci motifs, the fringed hoods and wide colored glasses. Interview with Massimo Giorgetti : I love this collection because all the colours are incredible but they are original from the archive, from the little silk box of archives, they have this green, orange, cherry, they are original and I love this fact. Of course we are in 2017 so the paisley in the collection is new, it’s a new print, I have always been obsessed with paisley from cashmere prints and I realized that Pucci needed some strong paisley and I hope I did it. At the end there is a story of travel of a journey, this kind of suitcase and trolley and its really about Pucci DNA the jersey dress you can put on the baggage, or a suitcase, and it’s nice because it’s fun and I think it’s the right balance between the past the present and the future.
